Gil Horwitz is the founder and CEO of Maryland-based Sage Ventures, a real estate investment and management firm focused on opportunities in Maryland and Virginia. After starting Sage as a one-man shop in 2004, Gil found success at growing the company to over 120 employees today.

Gil emigrated from South Africa to Baltimore in 1999, where he received his MBA from Johns Hopkins University. He lives with his wife and kids in the Baltimore area and is an active member of the community by way of non-profit organizations or volunteering in community projects.
